Today was a huge achievement for me. For the first time in nearly a year, I had pancakes for breakfast. See, I have an allergy/intolerance to sulphites, which means that generally eggs are a big no go zone for me. So no pancakes, no mayo(except japanese, but that's another story), no slices, none of the really fun stuff that requires egg as a binder - nor indeed anything eggy at all.

And so after months & months of fruitless searching, I found a packet of No Egg while we were on our honeymoon. So today, for the first time in way too long, I was able to have pancakes.

And since I have since been able to find more of the stuff locally (turns out I should have checked in the place I thought of as the spice shop, as it's a health food shop) I can try out the recipes here that require egg. At last!

Well, so long as they don't require anything else that makes me ill. :D

Ever tried Ener-G egg replacer? It's a good replacement in almost all recipes.

No, since the abovementioned No Egg is the only egg replacement I've found in Australia. It also happens to be sulphur-free, which is important.
